How Did Kakashi Get His Sharingan?
Kakashi, Obito, and Rin all together were in Minato’s team, in the third ninja world war they went on a mission against the stone Ninjas. Minato and the other 3 divided into two teams to carry out the mission.
When the other three were passing in the forest suddenly Kakashi and Obito were separated from Rin. A stone Ninja took Rin hostage.
Obito wanted to go right after that ninja but Kakashi insisted on staying with the mission. He said that mission was more important than Rin, the enemy won’t kill her right away, because they want to know the strategy.
Obito didn’t agree with Kakashi’s plan, comrade was more important to him. He said those who abandon their teammates are worse than scum and went in search of Rin right away.
After pondering for some time Kakashi realized he was wrong and went to rescue Rin. In that time Obito awakened his Sharingan for the first time by killing a stone ninja.
They found Rin captive in a cave. When they went in, a stone ninja used the earth style and collapsed the upper parts of the cave. Obito pushed Kakashi and Rin by sacrificing himself. A giant boulder fell on Obito and the left side of the body was crushed beneath it.
Kakashi tried to free Obito from the boulder but wasn’t able to do it. Obito realized he won’t live long. He told Rin to surgically transplant his right eye with the Sharingan to Kakashi.
He gave his Sharingan to Kakashi as a birthday gift. And when the more boulders fell on Obito, Kakashi and Rin thought that Obito died. Later he was saved by Madara and brainwashed.
How Did Kakashi Lose His Sharingan?
In the fourth shinobi ninja war, allied shinobi forces fought against the Madara. In the last stages of the battle, team 7 was facing Madara. Suddenly Madara stole Kakashi’s Sharingan and planted it in his right eye.
This happened so quickly that Kakashi couldn’t do anything. Then Naruto restored Kakashi’s right eye by his six path’s sage healing prowess.

How Does Kakashi Get Sharingan in Both Eyes?
Obito alongside Team 7 was fighting Kaguya Otsutsuki in the 4th Shinobi World war climax part. During the fight, Obito sacrificed himself in an attack to save Kakashi. In his dying moment, he transferred his chakra to Kakashi.
Then Kakashi was able to awaken Sharingan in both of his eyes. He even had his own Mangekyou Sharingan. With it, he summoned his Susanoo. Later when Obito passed away the Sharingans were gone. In that fight, we saw the ‘Sharingan Kakashi’ for the last time.
Conclusion
Though Kakashi and Obito used to always quarrel with each other, they were good friends from the heart. Obito always tried to catch up with Kakashi. As a friend, he gave his Sharingan to Kakashi twice. He wished to see the world and fulfill his dreams to become the Hokage with Kakashi.
