How Did Madara Die the First Time?

Madara and Hashirama met in their childhood. From then they were good friends. But there was always war among the Senju and Uchiha clans. They both wanted peace, dreamed of a world where nobody had to die in war nor any children.

Together they founded Hidden leaf village. Though they had the same goal, their way was different. When Hashirama was made villages first Hokage Madara took this as Uchiha’s failure.

Madara then chose to abandon the village and attacked Konoha while possessing the Nine-tailed demon fox under him. He challenged Hashirama and they clashed at the valley of the end.

After fighting several days in their last battle, Hashirama defeated Madara once again and killed him right there. That is how Madara died for the first time.

At the end of this battle, Madara was stabbed in the back by Hashirama hence he was defeated. He died and his corpse was secretly hidden to keep anyone tracking it.

But Madara used a scheduled Izanagi in his right eye. Therefore, he was able to come back in exchange for his right eye’s vision.

During their battle, he was able to bite off a tiny bit of Hashiharama’s flesh. Fusing it with his DNA he was able to awaken Rinnegan. He summoned the Gedo statue with Rinnegan.

By using it he stretched his life till the 3rd ninja war. One day he used Zetsu to rescue Obito who he later manipulated and used for his own good. He entrusted his Infinite Tsukuyomi plan to Obito and planted his Rinnegan in Nagato.

As he was getting old and couldn’t be sustained any longer, he disconnected himself from the statue. Thus, he died a natural death. And that is how Madara died for the 2nd time.

How Did Madara Die the 3rd Time?

In the 4th Shinobi world war, Kabuto used reanimation Jutsu and resurrected him. He single-handedly defeated the Five Kage’s, bringing great loss to the allied shinobi force.

Later, he was revived using the Rinne Rebirth Jutsu with the help of Obito and Black Zetsu into his prime form. He became the ten tails Jinchuriki and got the Rinne Sharingan.

With it, he successfully activated the Infinite Tsukuyomi. To him, it was the ultimate way to bring peace to the shinobi world.

Then suddenly Black Zetsu stabbed him. He explained everything to Madara that he was Zetsu’s pawn all the time. Infinite Tsukuyomi was never a Jutsu left by the Sage of the six paths. It was a master plan to bring Kaguya Otsutsuki back to life. Hence, he became Kaguya Otsutsuki’s vessel.

When she was sealed away by Naruto and the others all the tailed beasts gained freedom. They were extracted from Madara. After that, he died. On the verge of death, he had a little talk with reanimated Hashirama Senju.

After his last chat with his best friend Hashirama, Madara died for the 3rd and the last time.
